IT'S MAPLE SEASON 2025!

Once again we will be a part of New York Maple Weekends on

3/22&23 and again of 3/29&30 from 10-3.

Be sure to stop by  for a look atour operation in full swing!

DID YOU KNOW? Sap from maple trees is collected during the season in New York -- between February and April. These are the months when temperatures should be above freezing during the day and below freezing at night, making the sap flow. As temperatures have climbed due to climate change, the industry has changed making sugaring season more difficult.

FUN FACTS:  Maple trees can live to 200 years and beyond and have been tapped for 150 years or more. The sugar maple has the highest sugar content in its sap of any of the maple species. It averages in the 2.0-2.5 range but can vary from tree to tree and from day to day even in the same sugarbush.  It used to take 40 gallons of sap to make 1 gallon our pure maple syrup.  Due to the continuous changes in weather patterns and seasons, our maples are only averaging between 1 - 1.4% sugar content doubling the amount of sap it takes to make 1 gallon of syrup!

With that in mind, we will continue to put our heart and soul into making the best maple syrup we can.  We will keep our stores stocked the best we can as well as the sugarhouse while we

work our way through Maple Season 2025.

Bourbon Maple in the larger sizes have been a huge hit, especially with those who use it often and in abundance.

Large sizes are available in 1/2 Gallon, Quart & Pint Jugs.  We still have our smaller sizes as well in 1.7 oz, 100, 200 & 375 ml glass bottles.
